My Dream Pizza Gameplay Guide

A complete walkthrough of the core loop, kitchen stations, and your first hour as a pizza tycoon.

The Core Loop

My Dream Pizza follows the classic idle tycoon formula: take orders, make pizzas, deliver them, earn coins, and reinvest profits into upgrades and new staff. The genius of the game is automation — every manual action you perform at the start can eventually be handed off to a hired worker, letting you scale from a single oven to a fully-automated pizzeria empire.

The Kitchen Stations

Your pizzeria is divided into specialized stations. Each one is a bottleneck if left un-upgraded, so learning the flow is the first step to a profitable shop.

1. Dough Station

Where every pizza begins. Tap to roll dough manually at first, then hire a dough chef to keep a steady supply flowing. Upgrade speed before capacity — a fast dough station prevents the rest of the kitchen from stalling.

2. Topping Station

Sauce, cheese, and toppings are added here. New recipes unlock as you level up, each with a higher sale price. Topping stations have two upgrade paths: speed (pizzas per minute) and variety (number of recipes that can run in parallel).

3. Oven

The oven cooks pizzas in batches. Upgrade oven capacity early — a bigger oven means more pizzas baked per cycle, which has a compounding effect on revenue.

4. Counter & Delivery

Hot pizzas go to the counter for dine-in customers or to your delivery scooters for off-site orders. Delivery typically pays more per pizza but is slower. Balance both for steady cashflow.

Customers & Demand

Customer demand rises as your shop's reputation grows. Keep wait times short and your star rating high — unhappy customers leave without paying. The game uses a soft difficulty curve: each milestone unlocks a new wave of demanding customers, so plan upgrades around upcoming spikes.

Currencies

  • Coins — your main currency, earned by selling pizzas. Spend on upgrades and staff.
  • Gems — premium currency for boosts, prestige multipliers, and cosmetic items.
  • Reputation — increases passive customer flow.

Your First Hour

Here's the optimal opening sequence most players agree on:

  • Tap to make your first 10–15 pizzas manually to unlock the first dough chef.
  • Hire the dough chef and the oven cook as soon as possible.
  • Upgrade oven capacity to level 5 before touching anything else.
  • Unlock the second recipe (usually Pepperoni) for a 2–3x price jump.
  • Buy your first delivery scooter — offline earnings start scaling here.
